· CompTia Security +

· CompTia A+

MUST BE a US CITIZEN and eligible for a Public Trust security clearance if you do not already have one.


· Shall be able to use/self-train on computer software to include but not limited to web applications, Microsoft Office, CHCS, AHLTA, ABSS, CIS, Remedy, Dame-Ware, and DRA.

· Shall be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, and understand how to use the software and troubleshoot the software.

· Shall understand and apply management concepts of job prioritizing, workload scheduling and projections, training and documentation.

· Maintain workflow and communication to facilitate cross-coverage between team members. Identifies process problems, devises solutions, and forwards through chain of command for resolution. Maintain flow of information and communication between different organizations. Ensures duties are performed within standards set either by higher headquarters or locally.


· Respond to user help calls referred by the MESD.

· Builds, maintains, trouble-shoots, repairs and services end user equipment.

· Performs board-level maintenance and swap out of component parts for Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE), including PC’s, printers, plotters, etc.

· Repairs/replaces broken or non-functional parts that prevent proper operation of mechanical devices.

· Responsible for installing and upgrading a broad range of computer hardware and software.

· Familiar with all industry standard escalation/resolution procedures for IT services support within a medical IT environment.

· Process a range of scheduled routines to include hardware refresh and software upgrades.

· Support day-to-day client operating systems, applications, and hardware troubleshooting to all 66 MDS end users.

· Creates, documents, resolves, and/or transfers system generated trouble tickets for all computer related activities and corrective actions. (Designated database is utilized)

· Provides updates to end users in relation to trouble tickets. Provides technical knowledge for Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/Win 7/10/Air Force Standard Desktop Configuration, Microsoft Office 2003/2007/2010/2013 and personal computers, networks and software installation.

· Requests LAN account activation and deactivation from 66 ABG Communications Squadron.

· Performs password resets and common access card pin resets on mainframe and common network operating system platforms.
