BigBear.ai is seeking a Risk Management Framework (RMF) Engineer to support advancing the cutting edge of software-driven analytics for some of the most challenging machine learning and predictive analytics problems. These developers will help innovate new and relevant technical approaches, contribute to BigBear.ai’s portfolio of analytics solutions, and help support customers and capture engagements to demonstrate our unique offerings. We are looking for a self-starter with experience in software engineering and data analytics/data science who enjoys solving challenging data-driven problems.
This position will be located onsite in Suitland, MD.

Develop and maintain documentation, plans, and diagrams for security tools, system environments, and cloud operations
Support writing narratives to answer security controls for our cloud platform in all domains (NIPR/SIPR/JWICS)
Work with the engineering team so that security is automated and elastic across all cloud platforms
Participate in the change management process, including reviewing Change Requests and assisting in the assessment of the security impact of proposed changes
Write implementation documents and narratives describing how security features are implemented
Create and maintain information system security documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and provide guidance on active Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
Conduct periodic and continuous monitoring of the system, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with the authorization package
Give recommendations and advice to applicable teams to get us through the RMF process
Support updates in eMASS/XACTA
Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance
BA/BS degree with (minimum) 5+ years of experience or;
Advanced Degree (MA/MS) with 3+ years of experience
Significant experience with identifying and managing the process of accrediting a system for use on secure networking setups
Expert-level understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
Experience creating SOPs and POA&Ms
An active Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level II certification is highly desired
Comfortable with security controls on cloud platforms
Experience with the Military Decision Making Process and/or Course of Action Analysis and Generation
