Job Description

Cyber Security Engineer

We are seeking Cyber Security Engineers for our customer in Denver, CO in support of the(SBIRS) program operations. This opening is for several Cyber Security Engineers supporting operations of this critical operational program in Aurora and Boulder, CO. Cyber Security Engineer will have significant experience with technical security solutions and with various information processing security methodologies and processes. Cyber Security Engineer should have operational hands-on experience with computer system and network cybersecurity implementation(s), information risk management/assessment, and vulnerability assessments.Cyber Security/Network Certifications (i.e. CISSP, Security+, CEH, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA etc.) required.DOD Top Secret/SCI clearance and DOD 8570 certified with CISSP.

Cyber Security Engineer responsibilities:
Works in conjunction with multiple internal and external organizations to integrate/implement/assess security design throughout programs lifecycle and acquisition lifecycles, to include all technical issues related to security vulnerabilities and their resolution.
Applies Security Vulnerabilities and mitigation standards, understand IA software engineering, knowledge of DIACAP, DISA.
Review security risk assessments and develop actions plans for closing/mitigating high risks findings

Cyber Security Engineer required qualifications:
2-5 years as a Cyber Security Engineer
Vulnerability Assessment
Intrusion Prevention and Detection
Access Control and Authorization
Firewall Management
Incident Response
Advanced Threat Protection
Working level understanding of NIST RMF, and DIACAP publications for security testing and evaluation

Cyber Security Engineer desired qualifications:
Intrusion Monitoring and Detection, Information Risk Management
Protocol Analysis, Data Loss Prevention, Two-Factor Authentication
Various networking systems utilizing tools such as the SCAP Compliancy Checker (SCC), Eye Retina, SRR scripts and Gold Disk.
Creation of Security Testing & Evaluation (ST&E) reports on UNIX, Linux, and Windows

Cyber Security Engineer certifications in 2 of the following:
Security +

Minimum Security Clearance
Active DoD Top Secret with SCI
