Job Description

This position requires the candidate hold an Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.

Provides expertise in integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.

Task Required Skills:
• Minimum of 2 years experience writing Bash scripts
• Minimum of 2 years experience with Unix command line
• Minimum of 2 years experience performing Unix System Administration including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS software
• Minimum of 1 year practical experience with Docker
• Minimum of 1 year practical experience with Kubernetes
• Able to upgrade COTS/GOTS software for sustainment

Task Desired Skills:
• Experience with installing, configuring, and monitoring MongoDB
• Experience with installing, configuring, and monitoring ElasticSearch
• Experience with installing, configuring, and monitoring Accumulo
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem (MapReduce/HDFS/Zookeeper)
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)

The Level II Software Integration Engineer (SIE) shall possess the following capabilities:
• Ability to integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software.
• Generate documentation for the full software stack.
• Update software for sustainment support.
• Basic Linux system administration skills and shell scripting.
• Execute test codes for characterization of software performance.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
• OR
• The individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
