Job Summary:

Support stand-up of systems engineering capability within the company, with a particular focus on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering (DE) environments. Includes helping to outfit the company with industry standard MBSE tools like MagicDraw/Cameo and developing organic MBSE capabilities and training for an eventual Systems Engineering team.

Education and Experience:

BS in Engineering (Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and/or Software Engineering) or Computer Science
3 - 7 years of MBSE/digital engineering experience preferred
Key Requirements:

Within First 90 Days
Develop VectorCSP Systems Engineering/MBSE Capability Standup and Sustainment Plan
Provide key development support for Systems Engineering/MBSE Marketing Package
Collaborate with Director of Business Development to develop a Systems Engineering/MBSE-focused opportunity pipeline and develop and execute Capture Plans/Call Plans
Manage and report on Systems Engineering/MBSE IR&D Budget
Support Systems Engineering/MBSE-focused bid & proposal efforts
Develop, supervise, and inspire Systems Engineering/MBSE delivery team
Lead Systems Engineering/MBSE customer engagement and customer delivery efforts
Essential Duties:

Help establish a robust Systems Engineering/MBSE capability within the company, to include hardware/software, network and security, engineering skill sets, and training
Support execution of advanced research and development in system engineering/digital engineering
Support establishing a Digital Engineering (DE) environment across various tools and customer requirements
Support implementation of necessary methods, processes, tools, training, and network data transfers to establish an efficient, synchronized, and cohesive DE environment
Perform the following using MBSE tools/methods: requirements analysis/synthesis, requirements definition and management, functional analysis, performance analysis, system design and trade study analysis, and system integration and verification modeling
Work with Business Development to identify Systems Engineering/MBSE opportunities to help grow and establish the capability
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

Proficient in SysML, MagicDraw/Cameo, MATLAB, MS Office, and Adobe products
Strong knowledge in systems engineering and design for military aircraft, vessels, and weapons systems
Knowledge of USN, USCG, and/or USAF systems engineering processes/requirements preferred
Experience establishing and architecting relationships across the following types of models: analytical, parametric, visualized hardware, simulations/emulations, and constructive
