Job Title: Reverse Engineer – Security Researcher

Job Description:
Harris Corporation is currently seeking a security researcher, with reverse engineering experience, to join our team. This individual will perform reverse engineering and vulnerability research tasks associated with vulnerability detection and manipulation of targeted applications. The work can be performed in our Herndon, VA or Melbourne, FL offices, or remotely.
Responsibilities include:
• Finding new vulnerabilities in software using static and dynamic analysis techniques.
• Reverse engineering complex systems and protocols.
• Creating detailed technical reports to document findings along with proof-of-concept code.

Qualifications:
• BS degree, or six (6) years of equivalent work experience programming in C/C++, Python and assembly languages.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in reverse engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with disassembly tools.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with vulnerability research.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Java Development.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with mobile devices (iOS or Android).

Preferred Additional Skills:
• Experience with RISC architectures.
• Experience with embedded systems
• Experience with operating system internals, especially security components and kernel-mode debugging tools, including solid knowledge of information security, malware, rootkits, software protection schemes and virtualization theory.
• Experience with system security and/or debugging experience in C. (Unix and/or Windows environments, embedded environments, is a plus).
• Experience writing custom IDA loaders, processor modules and other analysis plugins.
• Experience writing Hex-Rays decompiler plugins.
• Knowledge of fault injection frameworks, fuzzing and virtualization.

• This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a security clearance. In order to obtain a clearance you need to be a US Citizen and show proof of citizenship.
